Frequently Asked Questions

  • Occupational therapy is a holistic and wide-reaching service that is focused on supporting you in the things you want, need, and love to do every day. This may include supporting you with sensory processing, emotional awareness and regulation, identifying satisfying daily routines that work for your life, finding success in work and school, self advocacy skills, fulfilling social engagement with others, finding ways to enjoy yourself, rest and sleep hygiene, and so much more.

  • I currently offer therapy to adults 18 years and older. My model is designed as a collaborative process between the therapist and the client. With the support of the therapist offering prompts for self-reflection, I have found that the clients who find the most success within this model are:

    • Able to identify and communicate areas of challenge in order to prioritize goals

    • Engage with collaborative problem solving

    • Are personally interested in participating in the therapeutic process and also have an interest in carrying out co-created solutions/home programs

  • To provide the most flexibility for me and my clients I currently offer Telehealth services.

  • While it is a goal of mine to accept insurance in the near future, I do not currently have this capability (check back in for updates about this in the future!). At this time I accept out-of-pocket pay. I can provide a super bill for you to submit directly to your insurance for reimbursement and I have sliding scale options available upon request.
